Zeelmania

Four Monday nights each July, downtown Zeeland hands its street corners over to the kids. The series opens with a Beach Bash at Elm and Main where everyone is told to wear white and something they don't mind ruining, then spends two hours on games engineered to be messy but easy to hose off. The mayor turns up for it. It's one thread in a busy Zeeland summer that also includes Tuesday concerts in the park, the Show & Shine car cruise, and a fire department pig roast.
