Haven Hill Festival

Before this was Highland State Recreation Area, it was Haven Hill - Edsel and Eleanor Ford's country retreat. Once a year the volunteers restoring the estate open the Ford family barn and gatehouse, vintage Fords drive the park roads, and two teams play base ball in Goose Meadow by 1860s rules while a brass band plays. There's also a Model T motor on display, walks into a National Natural Landmark forest, and kids' activities. It's alcohol-free and free to attend.
