St. Lawrence Applefest

A classic Midwest parish festival that's been running for more than three decades, thrown by St. Lawrence Catholic Church to fund its school - and powered almost entirely by alumni and volunteers. Free admission and free parking get you a carnival midway, a bingo hall, live bands, Italian and Polish food stands, a beer tent, and apple everything, from pies to caramel apples, on the church grounds each September.
