Bahweting Summer Gathering and Powwow
Bahweting - 'the place of the rapids' - is the Anishinaabe name for Sault Ste. Marie, one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in North America. The Sault Tribe's summer powwow marks it with grand entry, drums, and dancers in full regalia.
