Electric Forest

The grounds started life as a 1930s dude ranch, and the wooded stretch that became the festival's soul was once just a horseback riding trail. Now Sherwood Forest is strung with commissioned light installations, projection mapping, and interactive sculptures hidden among the pines - you wander it at night and find performances tucked in the trees. Four days each June draw 45,000 people across seven stages, with The String Cheese Incident, who've played literally every edition, closing it out.
