Art & Apples Festival

Sixty years on, Rochester's Municipal Park still fills each September with 280-plus juried artists from two dozen states, drawing up to 80,000 people to what Sunshine Artist ranks the 11th-best art fair in the country - and the only Michigan show in its national top 15. The apples are no afterthought: Boy Scouts have been baking the festival's iconic pies since the original 1965 volunteers, a tradition that's outlasted six decades of Michigan autumns.
