Pirates and Mermaids Festival

Oscoda already claims Paul Bunyan and hosts a Bigfoot event, so pirates and mermaids on the Lake Huron beach is entirely in character - costumes encouraged, treasure hunts for kids, and a town that clearly enjoys itself.
