Michigan Irish Music Festival
Twenty-five years on, the shores of Muskegon Lake turn Celtic every September - six stages of traditional, folk, and contemporary Irish music, much of it played by artists over from Ireland and Scotland. Between sets you'll find a Celtic Kitchen, Irish dog breeds at Celtic Canines, a staged traditional Irish wake, and Grafton Street's open music sessions. The nonprofit behind it has given more than $450,000 back to local causes, and if you're through the gates by noon on Sunday, you're in free.
