Marshall Bluegrass Festival
Michigan's largest jamming festival isn't really about the stage - it's about the campground, where pickers set up for the week and spontaneous jam sessions spring up across the fairgrounds day and night, often with the touring bands wandering over to join in. Now in its 29th year at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds, it deliberately breaks the purist mold: alongside national bluegrass, country, and gospel acts you'll find cornhole tournaments, bingo, karaoke, and family movie nights.
