Maple Sugaring Days

Sugar season on a working historic farm. Every March, the Port Oneida Rural Historic District inside Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore opens its restored early-1900s Dechow and Olsen farms for maple sugaring demonstrations. The 2026 event ran Saturday and Sunday, March 7–8, and it's free with a park pass.
