Victorian Sleighbell Parade & Old Christmas Weekend
Since 1989, Belgian draft horses have hauled a 30-foot Christmas tree down River Street while 10,000-plus people follow it to the end of the street for the lighting. Only horse-drawn entries are allowed - alongside bagpipers, reindeer, carolers in Victorian dress, stilt walkers, an organ grinder, and golden retrievers in formal wear - and the weekend fills out with a Festival of Trees, a craft bazaar, and a 5K.
