Old Town Krampusnacht

Alpine folklore says St. Nicholas travels with a horned, chain-rattling sidekick who deals with the naughty kids - and since 2023, Old Town Lansing has thrown him a street party. Costumed Krampus figures parade through Old Town alongside fire dancers, a maker market, and a costume contest, with St. Nick himself making an appearance. Around 8,000 people showed up in 2024; organizers bill it as the biggest Krampusnacht in Michigan.
