Michigan Chicken Wing Festival

Thirty-plus wing flavors descend on Lansing's Adado Riverfront Park every Labor Day weekend - from mild to a 'hot hot' that borders on hazardous, plus a signature blueberry-barbecue wing that's about as Michigan as it gets. Vote for the People's Choice wing master, watch brave souls attempt the wing-eating contest (seven hellfire wings in three minutes, then a five-minute burn with no drinking allowed), and know that a chunk of the proceeds supports local cancer survivors.
