Michigan Tech Winter Carnival
Students spend weeks building enormous snow statues across campus, working through all-nighters in genuine Keweenaw cold, all judged on one weekend. One of the oldest and largest student-run winter festivals in the country, with broomball, a torchlight parade, and sculptures that can reach two stories.
