Bridgefest

The Portage Lake Lift Bridge is the heaviest lift bridge in the world, and the only link between Houghton and Hancock - so the Keweenaw throws it a party. Fireworks over the canal, a parade, a bridge walk, and two towns celebrating the piece of steel that holds them together.
