Holly Dickens Festival
Since 1973, the streets of Holly close to cars and about thirty volunteers in 1843 dress turn Battle Alley into Victorian London - Scrooge, Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim, Jacob Marley's ghost, the three spirits, Queen Victoria, chimney sweeps, carolers, and street urchins out of Fagin's gang. Roasted chestnuts, horse-drawn carriage rides, and interactive performances of A Christmas Carol, free to the public, every weekend from Thanksgiving to mid-December.
