Harrietta Blueberry Festival
Residents started this in 2007 for no grander reason than wanting something to bring the village together, and blueberries were what grew nearby. One free Saturday each August, Davis Street fills with artisan booths, hand-held pies and sundaes, a pie-eating contest, a frozen t-shirt contest, a quilt raffle, and the fire department running a dunk tank and spraying a hose for the kids. The Leo Porter Memorial Parade is the centerpiece. If you still want more blueberries, the u-pick farm is just down the road.
