World of Winter

Grand Rapids calls it the largest winter festival in the Midwest, and it's free. For about two months every winter, downtown fills with more than 100 art installations, live performances and activities for all ages, with the installations open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. It started in 2020 and is heading into its eighth winter, so this is the reason to go downtown in January instead of hibernating.
