Beer City Brewers Fest

Grand Rapids took the Beer City USA title in a national online poll in 2012 and never let go of the name. Fourteen years on, the local brewers guild throws a free party under Calder's La Grande Vitesse to celebrate it, with around 25 area breweries pouring. The twist is the ProAm competition: each pro brewery teams up with a local homebrewer on a one-off beer, and festivalgoers vote for the people's choice. Food trucks, family-friendly, and 21+ for samples.
