Frankenmuth Auto Fest & Block Party

For 43 years, Frankenmuth Heritage Park has filled with pre-1987 show cars every September - but the detail that sticks is the Amphicar Club, who drive their amphibious cars straight into the Cass River and go for a swim. Friday night Main Street shuts down for the Big Block Party, opening with a Cackle Parade and closing with a drone show launched behind Zehnder's, before the weekend turns to the Bavarian Cup judging and a Super Sunday that finally lets the newer cars in.
