Fennville Goose Festival
Every fall, Canada geese pour into the Allegan State Game Area by the tens of thousands, and since 1985 this city of 1,700 has built a four-day festival around their arrival. A parade, a carnival, a 5K, and - for the people who came for the actual geese - guided birding tours out to the marshes where the migration is thickest.
