Community Pride Oktoberfest

Saugatuck-Douglas is one of the Midwest's best-known LGBTQ getaways, and the Community Pride group that throws its June Pride Week also throws this Oktoberfest. Community leaders tap the first keg at noon. Ein Prosit, a German band from Kalamazoo, plays while local dancers perform in dirndls, and at 4 p.m. there's a keg toss. Saugatuck Brewing lagers and brats round it out, and the $5 cover funds a year of inclusive community events.
