Mexican Christmas in Mexicantown: the night ends with a Posada procession re-enacting Mary and Joseph's search for shelter, then a tree lighting. Before that, Pancho Claus visits the kids, piñatas get broken, and Bagley Street smells like Mexican hot chocolate, ponche, and roasted chestnuts. Matrix Theatre launched it in the middle of a snowstorm, and the neighborhood has kept it going ever since.
