Detroit Riverfront Día de los Muertos
Every fall the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy turns Valade Park into a Día de los Muertos celebration, with a community ofrenda where anyone can leave a name or message for a loved one. The day opens with children's storytelling, then food trucks and makers, live music, Ballet Folklórico Moyocoyani Izel and Mariachi Mexico de Detroit. Free, on the river.
