Curtis Fall Festival

Curtis is a resort village of a few hundred people tucked between the Manistique Lakes in the eastern U.P., and for years this was its Oktoberfest. It's since been renamed the Curtis Fall Festival, but the idea is the same: one Saturday in early October when the town gathers for live music, a beer and wine tent, food, and games, right as the hardwoods around the lakes turn color.
