Glad-Peach Festival
The odd name isn't about being cheerful - the 'Glad' is gladiolus, the flower Coloma was famous for growing when the festival began around 1947, before the fruit belt's booming peach crop earned equal billing in the 1970s. Nearly shuttered a few years back and revived by its community, this two-day summer celebration now draws 14,000 people for a grand parade, a bake-off, ax throwing, a drone show, and the aptly named Peach-Tac-U-Lar fireworks.
