National Cereal Festival

Battle Creek is Cereal City USA - where the Kellogg brothers accidentally invented corn flakes in 1894 and C.W. Post built a rival empire - so naturally the town throws a party built around a giant free breakfast. The centerpiece is the World's Longest Breakfast Table (a Guinness record-setter since 1979), where volunteers pour thousands of bowls of Frosted Flakes and Fruity Pebbles while Tony the Tiger leads a downtown parade.
